Jemma is a Clinical Psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and experience working as a psychologist in the community setting. Jemma has an eclectic approach, adapting evidence-based practices to suit the individual needs of each client. She offers a non-judgemental and accepting space allowing clients to explore their emotions and challenges, and build a meaningful life.
Jemma's therapeutic framework draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has a range of clinical interests including working with people with anxiety, depression, stress, adaptation to significant life stages, grief, trauma, and people with diverse sexual and gender identities.
