Shobhna is a Clinical Psychologist who brings a person-centred approach to her work with clients who present with issues including; chronic health, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, stress management, sleep difficulties, and interpersonal difficulties. Her experience in hospital settings has given her expertise in working across the lifespan in short- and long-term therapy and in both face-to-face and online modes.
Shobhna believes in building a collaborative working relationship with her clients to help them; navigate their way through life transitions, maximise their strengths and develop strategies to assist them moving forward. She employs a variety of therapeutic techniques to achieve this, including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Mindfulness, along with adapting tools to best support clients individual needs.
